All comments are based on my own opinion and research as a former KQED employee and as a retired county Librarian. (Apologies for some content and link repetition. All typos are strictly my own.) This site is not monetized. I receive no funds, goods or benefits from any site, image or organization mentioned.

All images are used for educational purposes only. Please click on displayed images to view videos and online sources. The beautiful, edited, Golden Gate Bridge Header image by Alex Kurtzman is credited here.

I have not inserted Squarespace Print View code on this website which is best viewed and printed on Chrome. Print Preview in Landscape mode allows you to bypass the insertion of blank pages when printing.

This website is scaled to roughly 1400x716px (laptop size) on Squarespace 7.1. Apologies for any display issues at other resolutions. (The Squarespace Responsive Design feature in version 7.1 allegedly can not be turned off.)

As a librarian and former KQED staff member, I care about your privacy and safety online. Please review the Privacy settings on your browser, plus all websites you visit. C.D. Bright
